ABANDONED AND JUNKED VEHICLES

A.     Abandoned Vehicles on Public Property:  

Any abandoned Vehicle left upon any street or other public property within the Tri Park District for a period longer than twelve (12) hours constitutes a public nuisance.

B.      Junked Vehicles on Private Property:    

A junked vehicle is a vehicle which either does not have a current license plate and does not have a current safety inspection sticker or which cannot be driven legally on the streets of Laurel.  Any junked vehicle, which is visible from the street and is left upon any private property within the Tri Park District for a period longer than ten (10) days, constitutes a public nuisance.
